
iBCC is Ballajura Community College’s online learning portal. iBCC uses the very popular Moodle learning system which is used in thousands of educational institutions across the globe. Moodle enables teachers to develop online course content using rich and interactive multimedia and make it available to their students anywhere, anytime.
A number of 4-session courses are planned for term 1, 2009. Interested staff should contact Rod Burrows (roderick.burrows@det.wa.edu.au) to book a place in one of the courses. Each session will run for approximately 1 hour after school. Stream 1 and 2 are identical and you may enrol on any day of the 4 week programme.

A one hour PD session will be held in the MS Library on Thursday 19th February 2009 for all teachers with an Apple MacBook. Jeremy Hurst from Winthrop Technology will lead the session and will introduce you to some of the special features of your MacBook. Light refreshments will be served.
